Homestay message

Hi everyone:

Our home is less than 1.5 miles from CSUN. I'm a single mom with a mature 14-year old daughter. I have a 4 bedroom, 2 bath home. We have 2 furnished spare bedrooms. Each bedroom is furnished with at least one bed, a dresser; desks and chairs are available, if needed. I will supply all bed and bath linens; laundry facilities available at no extra cost; wireless internet available at no additional cost.

We have exchange student experience and would like to offer our family and home to host long term or short term, 1 student for the smaller room with one bed or possibly 2 students to share the bedroom with twin beds. We live in a nice home, in a quiet neighborhood in Northridge, California. We are 6 blocks away from a high school; as I indicated prior, (CSUN) California State University @ Northridge is less that 1.5 miles. Mall shopping is close and lots of restaurants in the area. The Metro train station is a 10 minute walk and bus stops are available within 5 blocks.

There are many tourist attractions for weekend fun. The beach, SixFlags Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, LA Zoo, many museums, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, etc.
